REEDS conducted WASH awareness sessions at MPPS Nyamathapur and MPUPS Maktha Madahram in Kadthal (M) Ranga Reddy District, Telangana. Students learned about safe water, sanitation, and handwashing with soap. An interactive pepper experiment demonstrated how soap removes germs, helping children understand hygiene practices and encouraging healthier habits for a cleaner, safer school environment.

REEDS conducted WASH awareness sessions at MPPS Kothur and MPPS Kokkonda in Siddipet District, Telangana, on November 14. Students learned about safe water, sanitation, and handwashing with soap. An interactive pepper experiment demonstrated how soap removes germs, helping children understand hygiene practices and encouraging healthier habits for a cleaner, safer school environment.
We upgraded Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene facilities in 2 Telangana schools, Narsapur Village Primary School and Bandamailaram School, equipping children with crucial hygiene knowledge. These improvements enhanced sanitation practices, boosted student well-being, and increased attendance rates. Encouraged by this success, we’re expanding this transformative initiative. Clean schools, confident learners.

Building Tomorrow’s Foundation: Through the Empowering Futures initiative, REEDS supported critical infrastructure upgrades in two government schools—Pavuluru in Prakasam District of Andhra Pradesh—creating safer, more engaging learning environments for rural children. WASH Awareness Program at Nagaram ZPHS & MPPS Govt Schools, Nagaram Village, Secunderabad, Telangana State
REEDS conducted a field visit on July 30, 2025, assessing WASH infrastructure, hygiene practices, and student awareness at Nagaram schools. Key findings include functional RO water, poorly maintained toilets, inconsistent sanitation, and limited hygiene awareness. Proposal aims to enhance child-friendly sanitation, hygiene education, and sustainable facility improvements.
